I'm not too skilled with introductions. In fact this is the first time I am introducing myself amongst the myriad of forums I've visited over the years. I will try my hand at this feat to the best of my abilities.

So, hello everyone. My name is Tettsure. I reside in Northern California, though I'm currently on vacation in my hometown of Miami. If the title of the topic was not evidence enough, I am partially fluent in Spanish. I can read, write, and speak in Spanish, but I am utterly unable to understand spoken Spanish. I am also slightly literate in Japanese, though I can only write and read.

I attend college in Northern California as well, about to become a sophomore later on in autumn. I am double majoring in genetics and business, with genetics being a subject I have considerable passion towards and business being both a useful and exciting subject as I endeavor to create a video game company. I've been intrigued with game design itself for about eight years , starting from just browsing sprite databases like spriters-resource.com to where I am now of attempting to make my first game. I started making a game in RPG Maker VX and I frequented rpgmakervx.net a few years ago, but school and other factors began to be more bearing, so I stopped. Fortunately, I am able to resume to my goal. :D

That was a diminutive portion of background information ad I guess I'll just end by telling you all about my behaviors and some of my skills that I posit can be useful to the community.

*A fair warning to all, though I expect no alternative treatment just because I issue a warning, I am often involved in quarrels with authorities, mainly when I perceive them as misusing their powers, view their behavior/responses as a poor quality, or they are just being an all-around jerk. From what I've seen lurking for a few days, I highly doubt I will get myself in trouble fighting with the moderators; they seem amazing.

*I can be bombastic in my writing. It is not out of pretentiousness, but just how I tend to write. I blame three years of reading and writing philosophy. There is no more verbose field than philosophy. It's nauseating.

*My skills in scripting, eventing, logo design, faceset design, and certain sprites are completely deplorable. I cannot, for the life of me, perform any of them. However, I can do Kaduki sprite recolors, edits, and originals. If you ask for an edit or original, I only ask you give me some time and do not make it an overbearing request of 10+ sprite sets.

So, hello everyone and thank you for persevering through this wordy introduction. If this sounded arrogant, I do apologize as it was not at all meant to be, just informative (of my awesomeness. *flips hair dramatically*). If this writing annoys or perturbs you in any way, I will tone it down. Finally, Fallout: New Vegas is the greatest RPG and game of all time. Yeah, I said it. Sue me.

That was quite a bit more than average, actually -- but I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Why did you feel the need to warn them about it, then? ;)

It is not out of pretentiousness, but just how I tend to write. I blame three years of reading and writing philosophy. There is no more verbose field than philosophy.
But there are plenty that are just as -- if not more -- esoteric. Anyway, which school(s) of philosophy do you tend to agree with, and which ones did you write about? Admittedly, this piece of information piqued my curiosity.

So, hello everyone and thank you for persevering through this wordy introduction.
Hello -- and judging by the number of responses you've managed to gather, it seems quite a few haven't actually taken the time to read this, which I find a little bit interesting. With that said, though, I like your introduction, and you seem like someone I can definitely get along with so far. Welcome.

Maybe I should strive to both shorten my writing and reorganize my idea of minute writings. I've been told such by a number of peers. XD

I suppose to keep their vigil over my activity sharp nonetheless. I think it is only fair. ;D

More or equally esoteric fields than philosophy? I will agree that fields, especially the natural sciences, tend to be just as esoteric as philosophy, but philosophy seems to combine jargon with verbosity in my experience. The schools of philosophy I find I most agree with are existentialism (I know, it seems to be the philosophy anyone with Philosophy 101 uptakes, but I agree with it), dialectical monism, and the ethical philosophy of deontology.

I thank you considerably for taking the time to both read and respond thoughtfully to my individual points. I also am a bit abashed that you complimented the introduction. I have never known how to really respond to compliments, so thank you. I admit, I loved your introduction as well. It was refreshing to see your style of writing.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
