I haven't voted because I have no opinion on the other choices, but I would prefer it if VX was the one on sale. XP is already being sold very cheaply considering how useful it is, and I have no interest in IG Maker. VX is on the expensive side for something I would get only to be able to use resources and test my artwork's compatibility, but if it were on sale at a reduced enough price I would probably pick it up.

I voted Gyrowolf, because of the quality, but also because it is more versatile as it is a well rounded collection.

I own XP and VX already, and am not interested in IG, but of the 3 I voted for VX as XP is already cheap, wheras VX is pretty pricey and there are so many resources where you need to own VX.

For the 3rd section I voted for Old School, as I think that using these, even for just a small side project, would be refreshing. They have such a different style that one would be encouraged to map differently.

Choice 1:
I'd say Magnificent Quest because I like Joel Steudler's compositions.
But Sinister Hollows can have a lot of usefulness... Hard choice.

Choice 2:
XP for the licence. I already own it, but there are so many resources requiring XP just for the licence that it's useful for other people even only for that.

Choice 3:
Fantasy Hero because I love the bust art and I already have the Futuristic Tiles.

Choice 1:

Nothing here is really my favorite, so I'm skipping that, even though I threw in a vote for Sinister Hollows.

Choice 2:

I picked XP for the music and the fact that it was the first RM product for PC to make it to the States.  Without it, we wouldn't have legal distributions of VX or Ace and any other RM coming out in the future.  The mapping system was pretty powerful and the resolution of both the screen and characters is much better than the chibi look.  It truly is a great product that I think deserves to be featured.

Choice 3:

For this one, I picked Old School Modern Pack anyone that knows me knows I love retro stuff.  NES, SNES, Genesis, GB/C, TG16, etc.  The pack, even though it seems tiny, actually has a lot of resources to make great little gems with a big dose of nostalgia.  It deserves to be featured because it even though it's small, it packs in a lot of great stuff that can be used to take people back to what I think is the golden age of video games.

Choice two: I've never really seen RM XP in action and I think it is one of the best.

Choice three: I bought this pack, and it was great!

2: RPG Maker XP

3: Old school modern

... to take people back to what I think is the golden age of video games.
Lol, I often lament to myself "The Golden Age". The graphics are really pretty today, which I like, and always patiently waited for. But the gameplay is just missing... and story. Maybe it has just been my choice in games to play, but, (with VERY notable exceptions) most games just can't live up to the awesome that was SNES era games... though i voted for Sci-fi because I really am itching to make a sci-fi game, and getting resources at a good priceon my budget is something I am always keen on...

I like how the most contended choice is #2...

Choice #1:

  • Magnificent Quest Music Pack: The sheer variety of options with this pack are just too good to pass up.
Choice #2:

  • RPG Maker VX: This is the engine I started learning on, and I will always prefer it.
Choice #3:

  • Futuristic Tiles Resource Pack: Sci-fi is just the way to go for me. I really want to do a space game. :)

Magnificent Quest Music Pack: Because it has great music. Okay the rest is really great competitors but these pieces can be used in a big variety of games.

IG Maker: VX and XP are the older versions of Ace. IG maker has more capabilities on making stuff other than RPG games. I think this is enough to be chosen.

Futuristic Tiles Resource Pack: Absolutely great! Stunning pack with great artwork, works great with other tilesets I can say for sure that this is a great resource pack. I own it and I am very happy about that.

Choice #1: Magnificent Quest Music Pack

It not easy to create your own music for the game, and I feel this music pack is a perfect choice for an adventure genre

Choice #2: RPG Maker XP

Because I heard it is very good for mapping and sprites. And I never have a chance to buy it during sale, also I got the RPG Maker Ace instead of it....

Choice #3: Futuristic Tiles Resource Pack

This tile would be perfect for my game, and I need more resource to create a game I been wanted to.

My choice would be

1. Magnificent Quest Music Pack, because I have listend to the sample tracks often and thinking, it would be a nice music addition to have

2. RPG Maker XP. I don't know, if I would use it to be honest, but from all available makers that would interest me the most.

3. Futuristic Tiles. A Sale on those would be great!

Choice #1: Sinister Hollows.  It's great to have more horror resources, which go very well with sci-fi as well as modern zombie or Cthulhu style games.

Choice #2:  RPG Maker VX.  It has the most scripting options.

Choice #3: Futuristic Tiles Resource Pack.  This is a great set for making futuristic sci-fi games and as a bonus, is compatible with the RTP, giving you more creative options.

The products I'm pretty excited about that I voted for are the Magnificent Quest Music Pack and the Fantasy Hero Pack. I love collecting new music for my game and the MQMP definitely has a lot that I would love to add to my collection! I've also recently gotten into using portraits for my games, so I'm really interested in the Fantasy Hero Pack. The portraits look really good!!

I already have most of those thought.  Hehe....

1)  Sinister Hollows has some very good spooky music that I always recommend.

2)  IG Maker is something I've always wanted to try out, so going for that one.

3)  Also already have all 3 of choice 3, but would recommend Fantasy Hero pack the most.  I love the sprites from it.

All of these great deals are starting to become a threat to my wallet. Ugh.

As for the choice itself...

Choice #1

Not sure about these 3 though, but maybe I'll go with Magnificent Quest. Sinister Hollows sounds interesting too, from the samples of it, but I think Magnificent Quest is more flexible for my projects.

Choice #2

RPG Maker VX, nuff said. Already own XP, and not interested with IG Maker, so yeah.

Choice #3

Another difficult choices. I'm gonna vote Fantasy Hero Character Pack though, since more variety in RTP-styled sprites is always a good thing.

#1 Again, can;t have too much good music, but I chose Sinister Hollows.

#2 IGMaker, wouldn't mind getting my hand on it to see what it can do.

#3 Futuristic Tile Pack looks really cool.

This time I picked what I don't own

Choice #1:

  • Gyrowolf's 2013 Music Resource Pack 001 - I already got gyrowolf's other free resources pack in the past but I don't own his other resources pack because you know reasons.
Choice #2:

  • IG Maker - I tried out a trial and even tho some say it's hard it was very easy to understand how it's works. I would like to continue on using it and maybe make a in-depth tutorial on how to work on IG maker for some who don't understand it.
Choice #3:

  • Old School Modern Tile Pack -  This really give the classic 8 bit theme NES style game. I would like to own one and work on a new 8-bit style project I been wanted to work on but can't due to resources restriction on my side. But I really wanted to own it.

OK, here are new choices and my answers.

Choice 1: Gyrowolf's 2013 Music Resource Pack 001

I love Gyro's work, too! (I my love all of musicians around here XD)

However, when it was released, I couldn't afford for this pack...

It would be a good reason for me to buy this if this will be on sale :)

Choice 2: IG Maker

I'm somewhat interesting in making side scroll action.

Actually, I tried it a while, but since I suddenly got busy during the trial time,

I didn't have enough time to play with it...

...Yet I know it's fun! :D

Choice 3: Fantasy Hero Chracter Pack

Well, since I basically draw portrates and facial graphics by myself,

I may not have cahnce to use this pack.

However, I have to admit those graphics' high quality!

And perhaps it will help me develop some drawing skills ;P

Choice #1: Magnificent Quest Music Pack.

Reason? There is no reason really. Everybody is just different. And for me, out of those three choices, Magnificent Quest Music Pack is the best.

Choice #2: IG Maker

IG Maker is the least popular engine out of those 3 choices. Come on people. Give IG Maker some kind of support!

Choice #3: Fantasy Hero Character Pack

Come on! Be logical and be rationale! I mean, yesterday you got discount sales on Dark Hero (http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/a/graphics/dark-hero-character-pack), then why the hell do you NOT want the Fantasy Hero pack. They are made by the same artist for God's sake!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
