Hopefully simple tech doubts (critical evasion, skill success and normal attacks state)

I have some doubts about some of ace's features:

-How does critical eva work exactly? Is it a value substracted directly from the attackers critical rate?

-Is skill success akin to accuracy?If not, how is it different?

-Is there a point to the default atacks having a "add state: normal attack" or is that just in case we wanted normal attacks to have some sort of state added?

Not exactly, because there are two different chances to be checked.

There is skill success % and the Hit Type, both having different functions.

The success % is a random chance wether the skill will work or not, independend of who is using the skill.

The Hit Type determines the chance to hit the target based on type and actor:

- Certain hit is 100% hit chance

- Physical attack uses the actor's HIT and CRI (and similiar) values to determine wether the attack hits or not.

- Magical attack is similiar to physical attack, but switches the process to magic critical/evasion values

For a guaranteed hit, you need both settings at 100%. If you reduce the success below 100% and use physical/magical attack, then the player/actor has to be lucky with two random chances to execute the skill.

Usually, only one of those values is used - but depending on the skill description it might be one or the other mixed in your project.

Evasion is not reduced from the hit rates, it's an independend value - if you hit, then a roll on evasion gives the chance to evade, if you're critically hit you need critical evasion

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
