I want a part where there are people who will start chasing the mc when they see her. They’d be turning 90° every few second. And when the mc is visible to them, they’d start chasing her (or it'd be instant game over - both versions are ok). Can somebody help me with this? I don’t know how to do it, this is the first game I’m making.

If you just want the event to turn and face the player, you should try Galv's Move Route Extras.
1) Download and install the plugin
2) In the event, chose a custom movement route & set the speed & frequency to be on the highestturn.png 3) In the route, use the script "this.turn_toward(0);" (without the speech marks)

To get the event to chase your MC, try Yanfly's Event Chase player.

You can use "this._seePlayer = true" to make it so that the events will only chase your MC if they can see her. You can also set it so that the event will only start to chase the player when you are nearby to it.

You can make it go to game over when the player is caught by having the trigger set to "player touch" You can find the game over controls on page 3 under "scene control"

I hope this helps you. If you don't know how to use plugins or are getting stuck anywhere, let me know :kaoluv:

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! :)

But of course since I'm a complete noob, I had some problems with the event... :guffaw:
I tried the "this._chaseRange = x" command and it worked perfectly, but for some reason, the "this._seePlayer = true" command doesn't . The event doesn't do anything even when I stand directly in front of it. Why can this be?

It's okay, I'm pretty much a noob as well XD

So you can't get it to chase you at all? Then how do you know if the chase range is functioning? Are you sure you've installed Yanfly's Event Chase player as well? It's already set to 'event must be able to see player to chase it' by default, so you could probably leave the 'this._seePlayer = true' line out. I've just tested both plugins in a blank project, so I know it's possible to get the event to turn and face the player, and chase them when it's within range and sight, you just have to make sure it's set up correctly :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
