How can I reformat downloaded tileset?

I downloaded the free version of the “Modern Interior” tileset by LimeZu on itch.io with the intention of buying the full version of their packs once I’m further into development with my game. But these files aren’t formatted for RPG Maker even tho the description on the itch.io page claims MZ/MV are supported. I’m gonna include screenshots of the two files that the download gives and what happens when I import them into the game. I don’t even know where to start or how to reformat these so they’ll work in RPG Maker so any advice on how to do it is appreciated

Those are definitly NOT plug and play resources as is, and you will have to sink in quite some time and thought to get them into that format.

part of your problem is that you placed them into the wrong slots.

There are six different formats for tilesheets, and each slot requires a tilesheet specifically formatted for it.
So ONLY a tilesheet intended for A1 can be placed into the A1 slot, all other tilesheets will be messed up like in your screenshots.

You can find the definitions for all tilesheets in the help file, it's the formats A1 to A5, and the sixth format for B to E

yeah I eventually realized the walls weren’t supposed to be like rpg maker wall tiles and so I have to treat these as if they are normal tiles. For the huge file of stuff I’m probably just gonna have to spend a bit of time cutting it up into smaller pieces
