How did you get your username?

My username is actually based on a superhero concept that I came up with that was based on "Video Killed the Radio Star", lol. I just really wanted a cool-sounding name, though.

My name came from the name of the first game I tried making in RPG Maker, "Luminous Quest". It was the title of the main character. I'm thinking about changing it to Luminous Dragon or Luminous Titan... Luminous Something. Luminous is one of my favorite words, along with eternal and overpower.

soul edge is the japanese title of Soul Blade, now commonly known as Soul Calibur. It's the benevolent/evil? sword in the series. The x was used because I think adding X to anything can make it edgy (see xedge?)

Recent;y I changed to my more commonly known name. I became GrandmaDeb a few years ago because I first started with RPG making and forum dabbling to spend time with my grown son. He had kids. I was a grandma.


Plus, in the world of the internet, it is nice if everyone knows where you stand right away, to some degree. So when I sound hopelessly out of date and ignorant of - oh let's say, modern television and music - no one dies of shock. =]

My name is in fact the name of a character of our family RPG (yes - more than one involved in creating it XD )

LordBloodySoul (Lord of Darkness BloodySoul aka Sereg Ûr ) is also the nice fella in my avatar. I can't tell much right now, since the RPG is still in progress. ^_^

Oh, one thing. LBS is the short nick of this nickname XD I so love coincidences XD

Mine is kind of wierd and has some history to it.  Let's begin, shall we?

WAY back when the Genesis was still in it's prime, I got to really love Sonic the Hedgehog.  Well, me and my glorious and ridiculous imagination made a character that looked like him in many respects, but was very roughly cut and different.  His name was Darksonic.  Now, you may be thinking I copied the idea of Shadow, but no.  This was YEARS before Shadow was even an idea at Sega.  He lived in a different world, different universe, different storyline, had different abilities and was the main character for a series of stories I was working on at the time (all in my head, never released).  Well, at around the time I came up with his third incarnation, named DarkX, I started working on music and had several different handles.  This was back in the MOD music scene days (module music, not UK fashion) and I eventually phased out all but one name: djDarkX.

Since then, I've used that name whenever I'm doing something music related on a forum or website.  The name just stuck.  It worked well and I like it.  I'm not embarassed by who I came upon the name as it shows how sometimes a username can have history behind it and tell a tale, even if it's a weird one.  Regardless, I go by this name on YouTube, on here, VXACE.net and various other places.  All my music is tagged with my real name and my musical name.  That's all there is to it. :]

Mine is the name of a world an MMORPG idea of mine was set in. The name itself is a "mixture" of the city name Maribor (real city, located in Slovenia) and Narnia. The way it sounds, however, sprung into my head when I was playing Sonic Heroes back in 2005 and a guitar riff of Seaside Hill's theme got stuck in my head, and when humming it, I used the made-up word "naridar" for that part.

I was trying to figure out a name for a new character I was making on Combat Arms that wasn't taken.  I typed in Doobles, and there it was.  I still use it to this day since it is so easy to remember.

I just realized I gave the WRONG username on mine...  I gave my Xbox Gamer Tag!  Yeah, you can tell where my brain was that day!

The 2112 part is still accurate, but the Xenos...  There's the tricky one.

I joined a forum years ago, and as I was the n00b of the week, as it were, and a stranger, I just went with the bastardized Greek FOR Stranger/Alien/Outsider.

The name stuck like glue.  

Course, most people over there call me X, Xen, or Markus.

Or Sully.  I mean, with a last name like O'Sullivan? 

Course, ain't none of them my REAL name...  But it is, generally speaking, what I go by on the webernetz these days.  Only a couple of forums I'm still under Diego...  LONG day, tired day.

So many usernames.. But the one I have right now comes from two things.

The 'Pika' comes from the all famous pikachu, who's famous for aiming for horns on Rhydons and the pokemon of the personallity-changing Ash Ketchum.(Like seriously, I haven't seen him break a bike in quite a while, and he seems.. different..)

The Lyze... well, it comes from a old book series I liked. The hero, Lyze, changed his name to Ezyl by inverting his letters.  Lyze was one of my favorite characters.

So I managed to combine both of them while playing some game called Hellmouthco. Then I started to keep it.
