How do I change every event to a different trigger?

I made all the events in a game except I didn't realize I had to change the trigger for each one into a player touch event so how do I change all of them at once? Copy-pasting the event didn't work.

You would need to open the map json file in your game/data folder.

Open it with any Text editor like notepad, it can't be done in the editor.

All it takes from there is reading, searching for where the event trigger is supposed to be changed, and replace the number behind it with a different number depending on what trigger you want. You should be able to do that by yourself.

Yes, there is a faster way. It's called "Leave it be as it is."

Since the text editor method itself is very fast as long as you can read and use the basic functions of the text editor, I hoped you were joking, not just lazy.

So I will say it again.
The text editor method is the fastest method there is. There is no faster method than that. It's either that or editing in the editor. And I won't be teaching you how to use a text editor. My patience is not infinite, especially not in 23:30.

any faster way lol
No, there isn't. If you make mistakes it usually takes more work to fix them.

Which is another reasons why we suggest to every new user to make a "training project" first with the full knowledge that you will scrap that training project after two or three months of working on it. Because that will allow you to make mistakes that don't need to be fixed in that scrap project...

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
