I have a dungeon and I want to make it a bit darker. Is there some way I can do this? I haven't found it in the help file or these forums.

Thanks, Ken

Yep.

F1 will give you the help file.

You can use the Tint Screen event command (page 2, under Screen).  If you put it in a parallel process event and give it a 1 frame duration, then follow it with an Erase Event command, the screen should be tinted before the map fades in.

Thanks. It doesn't have a preview box so I had to go back and forth a few times.

What is the frames and wait sections for? I unchecked the wait so it would begin right away.

 Thanks again.

That's how long you want it to take to change.  If you wanted a gradual change, you'd have a larger number in there.  And the wait is so it will wait until the change is complete before processing the next event command.

60 Frames = 1 Second

Maybe this is helpful for noticing how much time you need to wait :)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
