How do i force a game into window mode? (rpg maker 2000)

so i downloaded a RPG maker 2000 game -

and was wondering how to launch it in window mode!

Dunno if it works in RPG Maker 2000, but typically you use Alt+Enter to toggle between window and fullscreen.

Hahaha, I had Euphony's suggestion in mind since I first came to this post (around some mins after initial topic), but since tearsofthenight said: "and was wondering how to launch it in window mode!", I didn't posted it. I think other folks did the same xD and now I ask you tearsofthenight: was Euphony's reply what you were searching for?

Switching between FullScreen and Window in this is also possible by pressing F4.


If you really want to launch games with old engine versions (Up to 2000 1.52 and 2003 1.09), you can create a LNK to RPG_RT.exe and adding some parameters to the target of it.


"X:\Path\RPG_RT.exe" NormalPlay ShowTitle Window

Hehe, I know exactly how you felt at this moment. I feel the same way whenever I find out how to put a game into windowed mode for whatever I want to play!

Be careful, there is normally no support for games created using the pirated RPG Maker versions in this forum. (Of course you could ask in the forum of the same site from which you downloaded the game next time.)
