How do I gain exp from battles? (or turn battle points into exp)

I have been experimenting with different battle systems and I really like this one. The problem I'm having is that I can't get exp to appear to my character after battle or I can't get the battle point that my character gained in battle to convert into exp. I really don't want to give up on this but I can't figure it out. Does anyone have any idea on how I can get around this? Like how I can event it or any plug in that could do this automatically.

Which one?  You haven't provided a link, a screenshot, a description or even the name of the battle system.

EXP is allocated to enemies, and when a battle ends, your party members get that much EXP.  If that's not working, you either have 0 EXP on your enemies, or there's something wrong with the plugin you're using.  But since you haven't given us any information about it, that's as far as we can go.

Battle points? You have to be using a plug-in as there are no battle points in the game initially.

I've moved this thread to Javascript/Plug-In Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Eeek sorry! I'm using the Theatrhythm plugin by Moghunter. It has battle points as part of the plug in but from what I have seen it just uses these to look nice? If there's something that can be done I'm all ears but if there's not then I guess I'll just have to look for something else...

As said, by default the game automatically awards EXP based on enemies killed (unless you delete the numbers or give the actor a no EXP trait)

So if that does not happen, one of your battle plugins destroyed that option - and to help you, we need to know which battleplugins you're currently using (please give links to the websites of those plugins, don't repost them here).

It would seem you are talking about this plugin (two links), i do not understand written Portuguese but what I can pick out doesnt seem like there is an answer there nor on the link to the plugin on these forums. IMO it looks like Moghunter (or whomever made it) just went in database and changed the name name EXP to BP

Ya that's what I thought to and I went about it like that, but it soon came apparent that that was not the case, at least, it didn't appear as such in my case.

there are 68 plugins in that demo that the "download" link takes you to, i apologize but i dont have the patience to look through all 68, but something in there could do it, i wish i had patience to check that :) <3

edit: ill look through as much as my patience dictates :)
edit #2: i have skimmed through the plugins in notepad++, i still do not understand written Portuguese, but most of the "javaspeak" is English. The ONLY place I saw BP in all 68 plugins was in this one you question, and on line 703 it says "createBattlePower" as well as a few times above it where it mentions itself. I am a HORRIBLE programmer, but I would imagine you can change the "terms" it goes by there, but it also seems that it is created by this plugin for itself. I do not see any mention of EXP in the whole plugin, but maybe someone more experienced can take it from here

Ok thank you. I'll go look there, and when in doubt I have many javaspeaking friends so that shouldn't be to hard to manage. Again thank you for taking time out of your day to help, I really appreciate it!

Umm that might be because that's not a battle System, its a mini-game based on FF theatrythm , at least that's what it says. infact Scene Battle  and BattleManager aren't referenced at all and GameBattler is just used out of inconvenience.

(v1.4) Minigame baseado no jogo Final Fantasy Theatrhythm.

only things i can understand is "Minigame based on Final Fantasy Thearhythm"

I can probably can convert the Score into EXP at the end of the game, heck you can do that simply by using the GainExp Event Command and specifying the variable corresponding to the points you earn. then displaying them with Show Text, but im not sure abut converting it into a proper battle system. If did , I'm not sure how it would behave.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
