I want to make my item capacity lower that 99. (To example 20) It will be more challegne in my game. (It's more funnier then)

Do I need some kind of script code or what? >_>

Then you made either a mistake when placing the script in the script editor, or you made a mistake with the notetags for the item limits.

Can you please describe what you've done or give us a screenshot of the item where the limit notetag didn't work?

(you did read the scripts instruction that you have to put the limit tag into every item's notebox that should have a different limit than 99?)

Edit:

I just checked the script again, it also has a default max setting at 999. If you can buy up to 99 but not higher, then this suggests that something went wrong with the script itself or your edit of the script's configuration, because otherwise you would be able to purchase more than 99 items.

@supermixerman

you just need to find this line in the YEA Adjust Limits v1.00 script.

and change line                              164       ITEM_MAX =

to the number of items you want. as you can see i set it to 20 and tested it out a few minutes ago, with 2 chests containing 25 potions each. the resulting inventory was only 20 potions. hope that helps. enjoy!

Okay, so I need the whole script (including the green text)? Do I get a copy of the script from the site there it reads Download Link?

In the end it reads More instructions are included inside of the module. Is the module the download link or the picture above the text?

Sorry if I ask mutch, I'm not used with coding and using scripts. (Recently started with it) T_T

If you don't have  YEA Adjust Limits v1.00 script you can get it here. http://yanflychannel.wordpress.com/rmvxa/core-scripts/adjust-limits/

that brings you here. select all text and copy.

then open your project and open the script editor.

after all that, just edit the line i pointed out in my previous post. i know this is overkill just to limit items to 20 each. but there are lots of other changes you can make to the limits of all sorts of things with this script. hope this helps you.

and no, the green text is a comment to tell people what the line does.

the module is in the beginning of the script. it's all the instructions for use. it is all green text (comments)

Yes, you get a textfile with a filetype *.rb when you click on Downoad Link on any of Yanfly's script pages. It can simply be opened with notepad.

You need to copy the entire content of that text file into one of the script slots under materials in the script editor of your project.

After that you need to look for the line in the script that says ITEM_MAX and change the value from 999 to 20.

In this case, "Module" is another name for script - the added instructions are included in the scriptfile and will also be copied into your project's script editor.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
