How do I make a Multi-Item Fetch Quest?

I'm pretty new to RPG Maker, but I get the basics of it. But I'm trying to make it so you bring 10 of a specific item to someone and you get 150 Gold from it, but I don't know how the person who you talk to knows you have 10 of the item. Any help?

you'll need to use variables

Using a Quest plugin (available in the Javascript plugins section of the forums) and variables should allow you to do this quite easily.

 a simple event command can do this,with the help of a variable.
Name your variable (Variable X)


Set Y as the minimum number of items required


Set Variable X = Item count


Conditional Branch


   IF Variable X is equal to or greater than Y
Remove 10 item
Add 150 Gold
