Hi,

I'm trying to make a bridge where if you pull a lever, a bridge appears.
Is there a way to do this.
So far, I have the bridge appear, but you cant walk over it because it is an event.
Sorry if this is an easy question!

Thanks,

Yo Ewan.

Set the event as "through is on" to be able to walk over them?
Haven't mess with VX/Ace in a long long time, but I guess that's the same for XP/VX/MV?
Maybe I'm wrong.

you need to use a passable tile of a bridge and NOT a sprite for the event.
If you're using one of the tiles from the tilesheet instead of a sprite (they are on the bottom of the sprite list), then the event will get all properties of that tile (including passability). It still needs to be below player to be walked on however.

If you've played Knight Shift Chapter 1 this image'll mean something to you. If not, that's also fine!
Here's a medical question for ya: Why do I start lightly coughing after I drink coffee?
Well, someone "reviewed" my game. Didn't credit me anywhere in the video and spent 2 minutes insulting it. Going to ignore that and move on.
To cut down on map lag, I've been researching how to implement a lighting layer as a single map overlay instead of a bunch of individual lights. Hopefully I'll have a screenshot soon!
Imagine having a game broken up into a whole bunch of chapters? Like Chapter 11 should be about the party members going bankrupt.
