As the title said, how do I take screenshots of my maps in RM2k3? I mean a clear image like the one below, with events show up like the chest.
Thanks in advance!

I am not sure you CAN get a single screenshot showing the map AND events, without all the gridlines.

One way is to take several screenshots in the editor, crop away the gridlines from one of them and overlay it on top of the other (so you get the map without the lines), but the events will still look like boxes.

The other way is to do it as you're playing the game, but that will require lots of screenshots, and putting them all together in another program, removing the PC from each screenshot as you go.

Both methods are messy, but as RM2K/2K3 does not have any scripting functionality, you're limited to what the engine offers you, which is nothing.

Check my tutorials (on signature), there's a tool (area select) that let you see the map as if in-game (except for events). For the events, you can copy/paste their graphics as if it where in-game in the final image. ;)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
