To delete it permanently, open it up in Photoshop/GIMP/whatever image manipulation program you use, select the background and delete it.

Alternatively, just import it into your game via Resource Manager.  When you select it, a box comes up asking you about transparency.  Select the background for 'transparent' and that's it.

I've moved this thread to VX Ace Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Was undecided whether to put this into Resource Requests or Ace Support, and decided upon the latter, since you're really just after the method to import the sprite into your game with a transparent background. The Resource forums (apart from requests) is for you to share resources you've made.

You mean use magic tool in photoshop? That would delete the sprite detail as well. The only possible way is to use photoshop extract the image but that would take hours, and I got like bunch of image like that. That's why I ask if anyone here expert in image editing. Any apps that few click to take away the green background?

That depends on the settings used with the magic tool in photoshop.

However, you can also use the resource import of Ace to get rid of the wrong color - that will probably increase the filesize a bit, but it is worth trying:

Save the sprites in a format that has no transparance (like BMP) and import them with the resource manager - that will give you a window where you can select which color is turned transparent by clicking on t6he picture.

You're ... not using the magic tool the right way. Set tolerance to 1, and tick anti-aliased and contiguous off. Then click on the green colour and hit delete; tada! Also, save as PNG.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
