How do other game makers change the graphic types?

Hello, i am a kinda a newb at the whole rpg maker program and i noticed a couple of the people who have been working on a game that publish it to youtube aren't making the game at the same flat 2d graphics as everyone else. Where in the program do i go to learn more about how they are giving it the different graphic style.

the game itself is always 2D, but there are several tilesets that allow you to simulate other grafics styles.

One of the best examples are the "High Fantasy" Sets available from the shop on this site, but there are other (some free, some paid) sets out there.

Then you'll probably have to purchase the HF-Packs and their add-on-packs, because that's the only tileset I know that does contain such graphics, and to make those is enough work that you probably won't find anything like them for free.If you're unsure whether they are the correct ones, PVGames (the artist who created those packs) has more pictures and several freebies on her own site:

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
