So I've made a handful of games over the years.
I would love more people to play them and give me feed back.
But sadly no one knows that they even exist.

I've already tried Youtube but nothings really working.

It is really awesome to see that someone else played your game.
even if the feedback is bad.

Does anyone know how to get more people to notice my games?
BTW: They are completely free and passion projects.

My game is here https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/planet-stuck-ultimate-planet-stuck-1-2.90516/

Post a thread on here. Either in project development (if it's not done yet), or in completed projects. There are a lot of people willing to play other people's games on here, so I'd say it's a good start. :p

Well, there are plenty of things you can do. ^^

1) The first and most obvious option would be to post threads in the famous RPG sites. Back in old times, there plenty of those and they were all active and had their audience, but now it's mainly here and to a lesser extent, RMN.

2) Spread the word on social media sites. If you can make Twitter and Facebook pages and keep them active and updated, it might help attract some attention.

3) Gamejolt and itch.io are also good places to post your games. They have their audiences and Gamejolt's players tend to be less picky than usual RPGs audience.

4) You can also try to get it on Steam although this option is obviously a little more difficult and costly (I think Steam Direct fee is about $100 if I am not wrong? ^^;) so it might be a lot if we're talking about a free game and all. XD

5) Most importantly, have good marketing material. Take the best screenshots you can from your game, make a professional looking logo, a nice cover art that is attractive, and definitely a good game that entitles your players to leave good reviews after they are finished playing. I think this is the most important and effective point.

Just my two cents. XD

Get yourself to be known. Unless your game is super cool, you won't get anywhere if no one knows who you are. Some of people play other people's game because they know the person, and want to know how they made their game. It's kinda unrelated with game marketing, but it helps sometimes

The other is, you can use your game as your portofolio. For example, if you're good at drawing, and want to show your drawing implemented in game, you can show off your game.

Review exchange would also do like Archie said.

I've moved this thread to General Discussion. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

In general, it's hard, even on here, as there are so many people posting game topics and members only have so much time to notice them. But ultimately, it's about how many people know you. Whether on here or on social media following, it's what it comes down to. Keep making games, spend time getting to know people here and building a following and subsequent games will likely get more attention.

Game Jams are also a decent way to get a little attention. A good majority of the people who played my games were either paying attention, taking part and on occasion, reviewing and YouTubing game jam games. You kind of have to be an active participant during those, though. Play other people's games, give them feedback. It's a fun experience.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
