I am trying to make an RPG maker game that has some quick-time events. if its either taping the keys in a specific combination or spamming 1 letter.

my question is how to do you make it? Is it a plugin I need? Or is it a way, I need to set up the event?

I would really like to hear an answer as I have no idea how to make it or if I need to find a plugin.

(A nice example on what I'm talking about is from mad father's remake on steam.)

@Noova_art assets zip download link:
https://github.com/mjshi/RPGMakerRepo/raw/master/ChainCommand/assets.zip

Extract assets folder, take the folder inside called "chaincmd"
and move chaincmd to the img/ directory. (in your project folder)

To double-check, download the plugin from the github raw direct link:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mjshi/RPGMakerRepo/master/ChainCommand/ChainCommand.js

Test the event with an example-

Plugin Command
Code:
ChainCommand x,z,left,right,x,x,z
Thank you!! It seems like it I downloaded it wrong. so everything seems to look ok now c:

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
