How do you make an event happen on spawn?

Hi, I'm new to this software, and I want to make an event happen when you spawn after clicking new game. If I place an event under your character spawn place and set it to player touch or event touch, I have to walk off of it and walk back on for it to work. Help?

I just want dialogue to happen as soon as you spawn to make a decent prologue

what you need is an autorun event, and those need to be switched off or your player will never move.
