Hi I'm working on my own tileset and I was wondering how exactyly do you make borders?! I looked around the forums and online, but I'm not sure if theres an exact name for them. They look like this image on this post http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/18058-troubles-with-wall-border/

If anyone could direct me to a helpful tutorial that would be nice too! Thank-you in advance.  :)

If I have understood correctly from the post you link to, the problem is that you are using a ceiling tile.  There would normally be walls underneath it before you got to the floor.  It will always look weird if you transition straight from floor to ceiling.

No sorry thats not it. I'm trying to make my OWN tile set and I'm trying to make the borders around a room. Like using a program like gimp or paint dot net to make them, and then export them to Rpg Maker VX Ace. I tried making my own but they didn't work as borders like they should have like in the picture below.  :(

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
