How do you refresh the map from a script call?

I tried $Game_Map.refresh, but it said that $Game_Map was undefined...  I tried looking at the rpg_objects.js file to get a hint (it's worked for me in the past) and I'm lost....

Try with:

$gameMap.refresh()
