How does one create movies for MV?

Hello!


I've been wondering about how to create movies that can be used in RMMV.


I've looked for a tutorial in the corresponding forum, but to no avail.


What should one know in regards to them?


As a beginner, I'm well aware that they are probably out of my league, but I'm still interested in just understanding the raw premise of them.

You can create movies with any video program you'll like to use, and that needs to be an external program, so it isn't covered by the help or the forum.


The key point is that whatever program you use, the resulting video has to either be exported or converted into the formats needed by the RMs. Most better video programs ask you into which formats to export.


For RMMV you'll need WEBM and MP4 (with H.264 codec) - both if you want to use all deployment options.
