I didn't have any problem with this (I actually tried this a few weeks back), but I also knew all but a couple of the words. The inconsistencies of English can be very frustrating at times, but the difficulties of them often go unnoticed when you're used to seeing them all the time. I remember one of the first things I noticed while learning French was how much more intuitive some of the readings were. I say some, because a few of the words were just too much of a mouthful for me.

Interesting stuff.

I studied English in junior high school. It was really really late! To be honest, I'm ashamed of myself, because the younger generation in my country can speak English very well, and they speak with a British accent.  :o   :o

Just about the only things that threw me were the sailing terms and a couple words I had never seen before. And few words I didn't recongnize, like feoffer, and ended up have the pronounciation right in my head. Ignoring the differences that just came down to accent (which hers was light), since I'm American.

I took French and etymology classes in high school and I have a tendency to try to make sure any unusual name I come across is pronounced correctly, probably because my last name is almost never pronounced correctly at a glance, which is annoying. Those factors would tend to help in general pronouciation, I would think.

Not to say I'm a master of the English language, my spelling kind of sucks....and I have a tendency to write (and speak) in run-on sentances, along with my grammar, in general, being a little....loose, I would say.

And now I live in the Southern US, so half of the people I meet can't understand me because I speak to fast and pronouce words correctly....

Holy ****!

My english is...well...I think I've got so much to learn yet.

My pronunciation is awful. That I can say without a glimpse of doubt. I mean, I got a lot of the pronunciations right, but when it comes to say it aloud...Well, let's say it's just another thing.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
