How I composed music in the Chrono Trigger style

Greatings, everyone!

I posted recently in my channel this video writing about my creative process in composing two songs using common elements of Chrono Trigger OST, but with some of my influences and personal preferences. I hope that this video can bring some cool ideas to you compose

Modes really is the key changing in the mood! I love it haha
I think the Reaper always will be worth it, he can do what most of expensives DAW's can make, the problem is only the native plugins, but not a so bad thing in my opinion.

Yeah, there are a few modes I use pretty often but I should really give some others a shot.
I'm honestly so pleased with Reaper and the native plugins are not anything that holds me back. Not to mention ReaPack has a lot of cool little tools. As long as our lord and savior Kenny Gioia is teaching how to use all the toys on YouTube, I'm frosty.

Some modes as the Locrian we ignore

I forget the ReaPack! Is really usefull, I never used key switchs anymore (I hate this haha) after discover how to install Reaticulate with that. But I need to discover other tools of it, what do you recommend?

I think some of these may be separate from ReaPack but pretty much I am a fan of anything that helps me edit MIDI velocity and CCs by hand in a “far less” fashion.
