Dear Miffy6000 let me share my thoughts on that one with you.
First of all, some people believe that some people were born to be smarter than others.
Let's assume that this is a fact, for some reason.
Was anyone born knowing how to use RPG Maker VX Ace?
No!
So you ask a question on how to do stuff with the software.
Let's say I come and give you a helpful reply.
That does NOT make me smart. That just shows that I know an answer on a "how can I..." question.
Let's say now that I have ALL the answers. Am I smart?
Well if someone thinks he is smart, just because he has all the answers on RPG Maker VX Ace, he is probably an idiot.
Big time idiot.

Someone being intelligent, someone being smart, can not be measured.
There are many forms of intelligence and intellect strength that was going out of the radar of teachers for very long.
That's why society still sucks big time.
There is the classic IQ tests everyone talks about.
There is emotional intelligence too though.
There are special talents.
People with special abilities or skills.
IQ test can not measure that, neither your state of mind during the test.
Do you want my opinion on "smart" and "dumb" people?
Here it is!
Let's take mathematics for example.
There are people that are good at math and there are people that had bad math teachers.
There is no such a thing as a failed student.
The one who always fails is the teacher.
Teachers though are human beings with egoism. So they reject to face their inability, by putting the blame on the "stupid student".
Tell you what.
There are no stupid questions.
There are stupid people only.
And stupid people never ask and never learn.
If you are asking, you probably look smarter than you think.
Now about the software...
It's never about being smart.
It's about the more you know.
Tell you what.
Play this [ LINK ], then you might suddenly feel smarter suddenly.
It's all about understanding.
Asking to learn alone makes you smarter than the average people by the way, in my opinion.
That's because average people are afraid of that feeling that they will look stupid.
You are somewhat afraid of it. But you were smart enough to overcome your fears already by posting this.
Not to mention the absolute idiot guy who thinks he knows them all and never wants to learn. So you got my point.
You are smarter than you think.
So feel like it! BD
PS:
A smart idea for a game, a clever scenario twist, these things are different from RPG Maker VX Ace usage.
What I learned by my experience is that by playing many games, by reading many novels, makes your mind more wide open. So here it is! Once again, it's learning and experience, not intelligence.
