I had to remove RGSS School for the meantime due to complications. Also Dekita, please make a formal challenge topic afterwards with solid rules. (If you need help, please PM Shaz).
Won't a wardrobe scene require heavy amounts of graphic editing work, too? Or do we already have resource sets with clothes for all the characters? Or – another one – does "wardrobe scene" mean "scene to change appearance of your character sprite, by just switching out the character?
Whatever you can think of, for allowing a scene where by an actor can enter, change their clothes, then exit.
However, that script may not win the vote. We will have to wait and see which script wins before specifics are defined.
Edit:
No, we have no additional graphics available to use. If you stumble upon some, that could be helpful for an event, please let me know during the event and I will add the info to the initial post
If it's the wardrobe script, I'd assume there's some room for interpretation. It's not the script I'd have the most fun writting.. that'd probably be the bestiary one for me. It's also not the one I voted for. I voted for Alexander's as it seemed the most challenging to me
But I have two ideas I'm thinking on for the wardrobe one.. one would be simple to do, the other much more complicated. But.. I'll wait to see how the vote goes before giving the scripts too much more thought
You could assume the developer who uses the script will provide their own graphics, and just give them instructions on format.
Will there be a more detailed description of script requirements added, or is "wardrobe scene" all we're going to get, and we can be as inventive as we want to be?
I've just finished organizing music files from a music Humble Bundle I purchased a while ago (putting in specific themed playlists, deleting from playlists, deciding which games they'll be used for. etc.). I'm feeling pretty confident that the sound design for my games will be up to high standards. Sound design seems to be relatively under-discussed as a topic in game development imo.
So I just got back from SeaWorld and I'm back to working on my game. I'm stuck on Shadowstar, mainly due to needing two more princesses... I have all the canon and toy princesses, plus Sunset Shimmer just for kicks. I decided not to include Cadence since this isn't in that era. But... I'm going to have to design two OCs now.
I'm looking at/working through a simple game tutorial. Town, dungeon, boss; town, dungeon, boss; etc. (Thanks, Yanfly!) I'm itching to make something complex but experience (and past disappointment!) tell me to go slow and learn.
