How to add gold after battle via variable

So I have an enemy that steals gold from the player via common event. The amount stolen is stored in a variable. How can I add the variable to the gold reward at battle end (if the player kills them (they also have an escape))?

I think one of yanfly's plugins allows you to use valid JS lines as the gold drop of an enemy

so using that, you would use something like $gameVariables.get_value(ID) [if I remember my MV JS calls correctly] to make that the gold drop of that enemy

The only 2 plugins I can think of is Extra Enemy Drops and Steal & Snatch. But Extra Enemy Drops seems to only do items and Steal & Snatch is for player stealing, not enemy stealing. So I really don't know

I'm not really sure but I just thought I remembered something like that when I watched the videos of MV. Maybe it's on one of the core plugins. Or maybe I just thought there was one, sorry.

This can be handled using Yanfly's Steal -Snatch plugin.
Yanfly had made a tips & tricks video with enemy thieves, and you can inculde gold stolen to be dropped. ie if the thief steals gold from an enemy it taken from the gold amount. However if the enemy steals it back, it's added to the gold the enemy has.

Enemy Thieves that can Stealers can steal stuff back.
Regular Enemy Thieves(you can't steal from them).
This is good to know, but it's still not quite what I'm looking for. I don't want the player to have to steal the gold back, I want it to be given back if they defeat the enemy at the end of battle. I'll probably just event it all and have text pop up when you defeat the thief saying you got the gold back. I was just trying to make it less intrusive so the player won't be prompted every time, but I suppose it helps let the player know they got it back.

Well if you use a common event you could use Yanfly's Utlity Common events so that if you have enemy thief in random events, you can still give gold back.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
