You can likely find the answer to this one by asking around in the main Support forum anyways.

If it's on Tileset C, D or E, you can set that as an event graphic (scroll all the way down).

Well, if the torch graphic is on Tab C, D or E, then you can create an event and in the bit where you select the graphic, scroll down to the bottom and select the tab where it is on.

If it's in the tileset and it's meant to be animated, it should be in the A1 tileset. Otherwise you might just have to copy them out and make them into a spritesheet so you can turn on stepping animation.

I've moved this thread to VX Ace Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

As they are torches, they should not be on A1 tileset.  Is it only the torches you want?  If it is, what I do is this (and have actually done it for the blue torches)

I have a tilesheet the same size as the default size for actor sprites.

Take the 3 torches and place them on one row.  Note, there is a slight placement error on the original tilesheet and you will have to move them slightly to get them lined up properly.

Use an event, selecting the middle one as your graphic, and check the box Stepping Animation.

You might want to adjust the speed a little, if you want a stronger flicker.

Done.

What is the name of the image that contains the torches?

I guess torch should be inside Characters (as sprite sheet), then you can animate it using event. You just need 3 different picture of the torch.

Yup, crop them (the 3, I guess that three with blue flames) and save as characters format (3x4 frames, each frames is 32x32 pixel, add $ in front of the file name, e.g $eviltorch)

But like I said, please note that the left hand one is misplaced on the tilesheet.  It is too far right by a pixel or so, and if you just place them as is onto your own sprite sheet you will see them 'jumping' when they are animated.  You have to realign that individual image.
