Hello! I'm extremely new to RPG Maker so I'm a little bit lost with this one.

Basically, I want to implement a skill you can use in battle that will switch the enemy sprite and battleback between two states. So if you use the skill while State 1 is active, it will change to State 2, and visa versa. Here's a visual example:

So State 1 is active, and this flower is the enemy:

Then I use the skill, and the enemy and battleback changes to State 2:

Then I could use the skill again and have it change back to State 1.

I've tried a few different things with little to no success, so I was wondering what would be the best way to achieve this?

I really appreciate the help! And Happy New Years!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
