How to Change the Color of Your Event

This applies to a girl, boy, or vehicle.  There are pre-made sprites of these characters, and if you created your own you won't get the specific clothing like the pre-made ones have.  Question is how to change the color of the "people1" sprites or car "SF_Vehicles"?
