Hello, I found this awesome script call tutorial by the Infamous Bon Bon some time ago, but I have been unable to understand if it is possible to combine 2 or more of the script calls. I am trying to make it so the enemy will chase the player when they see MC, or have the MC sneak up to the NemyPC and "assassinate" it, depending on player location in relation to the NPCs position.

I tried to ask the original author if he could help, but it's been a while since he'd written it and, life being what it is, he has his hands full with Life. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a good day.

Is it absolutely mandatory for you to use a script call?

Maybe not? I was informed that it would be less resource-intensive than using parallel processes and eventing to accomplish this for multiple events on the same map. I am just looking for the cleanest, easiest, and CPU-fastest method to have about 5-10 events that will chase the player upon sight, or 'die' when the player sneaks up behind them and pushes a button.

Maybe, but that depends on how much you're planning on using it.

Well, 1 game, will be 3 levels, maybe 10-20 minutes. Another game I have planned will use that method pretty much as the main gameplay mechanic with others to make it interesting.

It seems as though you can just make a conditional branch with those requirements, and then do another one to check if the player is close enough to kill the enemy. If the requirements are met, set a move route and then activate a self switch to kill the enemy or if you get caught.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
