Hey there,

I am trying to figure out how to send my character back to where she started after losing a battle.  It's a dream she is having, so I don't want her to die and have the game end.  I would prefer to use a timer or another event to interrupt the battle scene.  I posted a screenshot of what I have come up with so far but I can't seem to get it working properly.  I can enter the battle and change the character levels but I just can't seem to get the battle to end.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Abort battle is a command to be used on the troop events.

You can't control a battle from events outside of the troop.

Go to the database Troops tab and put the Abort Battle there (don't forget to place a proper condition for the event)

Thank you for the reply, this fixed all my issues, except one.  How I stop the main trigger from firing again?  It's set to autorun, so as soon as my main character comes back, she goes back into the battle scene again, haha.

Try creating a second page that's blank on that event

add to the end of the first event page set self switch A on

make it so if A is on then the second page runs

This should delete that battle event!

How do I do an If statement?  I turned the switch on for A but I am not sure how to check if it's true or false.

Edit:

Never mind I figured it out.  Its right in the main conditions window, top-left.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
