How to Credit Properly

I've searched around and haven't found an authoritative answer... I'm getting very close to commercially releasing my game and I'm trying to figure out how to put the credits together properly. I have a ton of resources that simply say something along the lines of, "Commercial Use allowed - Just credit me." Does this mean I need to make a separate credit entry for each and every resource. Like for example, if I have 20 different animations that all came from the same individual, what does the credit look like, "Bob Smith - Animations" or "Bob Smith - Animation1, Animation2, Animation3, Animation4, etc." Or, ideally could I have something along the lines of a Special Thanks section with the names of all of the individuals who contributed?

Any insight would be appreciated?

Edit: after searching some more, I did find this link which helps me a lot... though if anyone else wants to bring further clarity, that would be great.

I've moved this thread to General Discussion (this applies for ALL games and is not specifically related to commercial games). Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Personally what I like and what I tend to do myself is:

* Have an ingame credits screen that keeps it very short and simple

IE. Graphics by:

             [Creator], [Creator], [Creator]

* Have a read-me file with a more detailed list of credits, including a link back to the creator's website if possible.

IE. Custom Battler Art by [Creator] - [link to website]

Forest Tiles by [Creator] - [link to website]

Assorted Tiles by [Creator] - [link to website]

The reason creators ask for credit is in part because they want to be acknowledged for the hard work they've done, but also to be advertised. So providing the link is really courteous, even if they didn't ask you to specifically.

But generally 'credit me' just means - Say somewhere I made this thing, not you.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
