How to display an image in your signature?

Hey guys I was looking around and see some members that have links to their various project threads in their signature, but these links have the project logo or picture. How do you do this? Whenever I put the link to my project thread it doesnt show a picture it only shows the url. Thank you!

IMG (Url) /IMG (without spaces and with [])

Like: IMG http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w385/Marsigne/Cinematic%20Scenes%202%203.png /IMG (without spaces and with [])

For some reason it doesn't allow me to use the IMG with [] so I did it like that. (IMG) (but with [] instead) and (/IMG)
