How to download RPG Maker VX Ace onto a new PC?

I have recently acquired a new computer, and wish for my paid copy of RPG Maker VX Ace to be transferred to it. However, I don't know how to do this without having to buy it again. What do I do?

That depends on where and how you purchased it.


Steam: just install steam on the new PC, login and install it.


Forum store: redownload it from the "mycontent" area, install and enter the serial


Main store: go to the email with your purchase information and follow the instruction again.


There are a few other ways to purchase it, if the info above doesn't help you, you need to send a support ticket (NOT another post in this forum, but a ticket in the support area on top of the site).

Contact Support.  They should be able to help you, although installing it and re-entering your code SHOULD work, but I'm not really sure.

Then send a support ticket with your email adress asking to resend the original email to you - if you still have the same email address as used for purchasing the program. If not, you still have to contact support to find out what other options are left.
And remember to save and print out licence emails to make sure they don't get lost - as you're currently learning, those are worth the money needed to purchase the program...
