ive seen intructions on how to enable debug mode on a game but dont find it clear.

it says to add debug or test to a shortcut of the game.

but does it mean i have to put it in the parameters of the shortcut or the name (eg. gamedebug.exe)?

thank you for any and all help in advance.

There's a couple of things you can do using the F Keys

F1 = Game Properties

F2 = Shows game FPS

F9 = Allows you do turn off and on your Game Switches and variables

F12 = Resets to the titles screen

Not sure if that's what you were looking for, but those are some tools for debugging you can use.

No - the debug is automatically active when launched from the editor but not included in the game.exe

If they haven't used the trial yet your friends can use that to get 30 day of playtest options, but otherwise they have to report the bugs back to you for fixing.

Which would be the better solution anyway, because what if different friends fix different bugs and forget to tell you, so that they aren't fixed in your mastercopy?

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
