How to have an item only kill a certain enemy

i want to make some sort of puzzle where the player gotta attack an enemy with a certain item to kill it .
anybody know a simple way to do that?

also i'm sry if i should not post this here, it's my first post

@Mal9 I moved this to Ace Support based on your "Primarily Uses". RPG Creator is for the software of that name. If I am wrong and that is the software you are using please let me know.

You could assign an Element to your Item.
Some enemys could be imune against that Element while others take damage.

Or instead of Elements, maybe States could also work for this.
Not sure right now.

This is not how you do it and why I like this site more. It is mandatory that you describe your project in detail in the recruitment section at the least!
