Hey everyone! I literally just started this. ( sorry if I'm in the wrong section)

But I need help! I wanted to know how to import my own sprite sheet. So when I import it, I go to the stuff, but then, when I try to click on it, there is like this weird white box around my sprites, but It doesn't cover my whole sprite sheet. Like, it only covers half of it. Its so weird. I have 12 sprites in all, and 3x4. I'm so confused?! Please help. I hope this makes since.

Please show screenshots to explain what's happening.  "weird white boxes not covering the whole sprite sheet" is pretty confusing.

A copy of your spritesheet, and a screenshot showing what you see when you get these weird white boxes, should be enough to figure out what's happening.

What software are you using to make your sprites?

Oh. Your background isn't transparent, so I think you would need to go into Photoshop and erase the background, then export it as a PNG. Don't export it as a JPEG.

Just noticed your second question. You need a dollar sign beside it, else it won't see it as individual characters.

A spritesheet with ONLY 12 frames for a single character (and no blank space for others) must have a $ at the start, as it tells Ace that it's only sized for one character.  Without the $, Ace is looking for 8 characters on the spritesheet, which is why it only selected 1/8 of your image.

And your screenshot doesn't show a regular sprite, it shows a picture with only 3x3 instead of the required 3x4 parts, so it might fail even with the $.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
