How to make a counter using Decor tiles?

Hello. I am trying to make a counter, but it ends up looking wrong.(When aproached from the bottom, the characters head clips through) If you can refer any plugins/help then that would be great.

Are you eventing or making a tile set for your counter?
If it's a tile set, got into tools> Database >Tilesets and check the bush, counter and passage settings for the image you're trying to use.
If it's an event, check in it's above or below the character.
And I don't know of plugins, I'm willing to bet Yanfly would be the place to start though.
Personally, I just tweak settings until I get desired results. Hope it helps.

There are a few plugins that can handle how star tiles and colission work. Another solution since Time Fantasy character sprites are two tiles high is to make a counter where the front is one side high and the top another. The collission will happen on the characters bottom hitbox so the head would just reach the bottom tile of the counter.

I am using a tile set. The counter is 2 tiles high (I got it from the creators website) and I may use Yanflys Region restrict to make the bottom not stepable.

Yeah, if your end solution is to make the bottom tile not walkable, just mark it with the X passability instead of O to make it unwalkable.. No need for plugins.

It clips thru because the upper tile that you used has a star passability, and star tiles show above players by default.. There are also plugins that make it take into account where the player is actually in so that it works nicely for taller sprites.
