Hi All
This is my first post here, so apologies if it is the wrong place.
I am brand new to VX Ace, although I have previously made RPG'ers in the old NWN Aurora toolest.
I am struggling with a number of issues at the moment, but am working through them. However, I am trying to create a sandbox style world, without a linear storyline. Instead, the Main Character is classless and can choose where he goes and when.
Naturally they are then cut scenes, and a number of quests which lead to enhanced equipment to aid the main quest. To help the player, I want to create a "Quest Journal" that is accessible from the screen that comes up when I press "Esc" during gameplay (the one that has formation etc).
I want the "journal" to have two pages. One for active quests (which will give directions and information on how to complete them" and one for completed quests (again, with a little info as to what has happened).
Is there anyway to do this? Or is there a Quest Wizard that I am missing?
Cheers
GT
