How to make a TP-damaging skill / weapon?

So, I'm fairly certain that by itself the editor doesn't allow for this sort of TP manipulation. I think a script may do it but what I've tried didn't work. Asking for your help, thank you very much.

MZ is very similar to MV and on MV it's possible to do that with some tweaks in the Battle and Common Events.

Can you describe exactly what your skill will do or how it's supposed to work?

It's a "wave of exhaustion" which drains a huge amount of TP from characters, making them unable to act.

It's a "wave of exhaustion" which drains a huge amount of TP from characters, making them unable to act.

On this case, all you need is to create your TP skill with an status effect similar to "paralysis". Coincidentally, I just created a lesson on my game project that teaches how to create a "frozen" state (for enemies though, but it's easy to make it affect the player using the skill).

For the state to work as intended, you create an effect that calls a Common Event, on this Common Event, you use the Event Command Change State for the desired character.

This skill is used only by one Actor, or it's a skill that can be learned and used by others?

It's actually used by enemies, never players!

I know what you mean, but I still think it's worth to check if it is possible to have more control over TP, which is fairly limited in the game tbh.

The VisuStella Enhanced TP plugin does allow skills to use both MP and TP, I think

I've just checked, and maybe not.

Looks like it's the Skills States Core plugin that has it.

So AFAIK the plugin doesn't seem to allow direct TP damage but it does allow for TP SLIP damage/regen via JS, but not direct damage, unless I'm mistaken?
