How to make an event below another event?

Hello,

I have a simple problem. In my game I have a closet which my player can move left, in order to find ladder beneath it. I have successfully made closet to move left and stay there after player interaction, but now i need to add transfer event beneath the closet event. Closet is event type, and ladder is tileset. When closet is moved, it needs to stay in that place, and transfer event needs to appear. Can someone help me?

I believe you can do that with the Set Event option. Namely, when setting its location, choose "Exchange with another event". That'll swap the closet event with the event you want.

The Event with the higher Event ID is shown above Events with lower Event ID, if they are on the same layer (below,same,above).

Create the ladder Event on the position you want to have it on the Map.(Set it to Below and Action Button for example)
Than you need a Paralell Event running once everytime the Map is entered.

Conditional Branch Switch Door is Off
-Teleport Cupboard Event to Position where ladder is.
else
The Doorway is allready Open so Teleport the Cupboard to the other position.
end
ERASE Event (It will be executed again when Map is reentered,this is needed because Events reset positions to there origins when map is reentered)

If you also need Help to create a pushable Object, let us know.

I solved it. I created another event at other place, and I used switch to get knowledge when the closet event will finish, when the closet was pushed, my second event teleported to it's place and got transform player function. Thanks for inspiration!

That is good to hear, but be aware, if you can reenter the Map, the Events will reset to there initial Positions.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
