How to make an event end permanently when you exit the map?

It doesn't work,it ends while being in the map

can you post screenshot of the event?
just guessing the map transfer event and the event you want to stop are 2 different events?

you'll probably need the map transfer event to have a conditional branch determine if should turn on a normal switch which changes the page of the event you want to stop permanently.
(plugins/script can have event B change a self switch on event A instead of using a normal switch)

What Tiamat said. Make a second blank page for your event triggered by self switch A, then in your map transfer event, do a "script" command with

$gameSelfSwitches.setValue([ID of map, ID of event you want to turn off, "A"], true);

Thanks!it worked. But now i have a different problem,I have a second event page who needs to always appear,but it stopped because of the switch.

If you have a second page that needs to always appear, wouldn't that mean you don't need to make the event end permanently? What exactly are you trying to do?

I'm trying to create an event who disappears once you leave the map,and when you enter the map again,the event will be different and also repeating itself. maybe adding a new event instead of a page will work for it,but I dont know if its possible to make it trigger by action button in the place where the disappearing event was.

why isnt the switch linked to this "event will be different"?
and event triggers will often F up when 2 events occupy the same tile

page 1 and 2 both have no conditions.
meaning page 1 is never active because page 2's conditions all pass.
im guessing page 1 is the "event will be different" you talked about?

the highest number page that can meet all page conditions will always be the 1 active
