Hello! I'm trying to make a boss completely immune to all damage but it's only working for standard physical attacks. Is there any feature or script I can use to completely nullify all damage?
you can set all damage element rates to 0%, and there are rates for physical and magical damage that can be set to 0% as well - all in the features, no script needed.
It's meant to be immune to damage for the first five turns and then becomes vulnerable after an in-battle cutscene. Also the element rates thing didn't work for some reason
Ah, then making the enemy immune to all elements, is not going to work.
Instead, make a state, give that state all those imunities, and then give the enemy this state,
Then after 5 turns, remove the state.
Yeah! Well, I have no idea who they are, but why not. Lets be besties. At least, if they are 18+. I dont want to have to explain why I am besties with a minor. That would be awkward. But sure, I'll take a friend. Can I add them on facebook? I always wanted a facebook friend. I need someone to like my cat pictures. They are really cute. I should get a cat, too. That would make posting cat pics a little easier. I could just take photos of my own cat at home, instead of creeping around the neighborhood with my kodak. But one step at the time. First a friend, and if I can take care of the friend, I might be ready for a cat.

Oh my... look at me getting all excited. I got all off topic. No matter, we can spin this around back on topic... *spends a while thinking about it* Okay, maybe not.
@Witherskeleton , Sorry for that. I... yeah, that happened. But I did actually also have an on-topic comment for you.
If you make your enemy immune for 5 turns, you should make some differences between the immune one and vulnerable one.
You could even give it a while new skill-set, neew look and new stats, if you want.
the only thing you got to do is make a second version of the enemy. One that is immune, one that is not.
then start the battle with both versions in the party, but the second one is hidden.
after the 5th turn, instead of removing the state, you reveal the second boss, and then make the first boss leave the battle. In that order, not the other way around.
now it looks like the boss changed from his invulnerable state into his vulnerable state.
The first boss might have buff spells for minions, or debuffs for your party, while the vulnerable one is attacking, because each boss has their own skill set.
I hope that all made sense after my rambling fron earlier.
( @Lord Vectra sorry, didnt mean to make fun of your comment. I was more inspired by it. FRIEND POWER!!)
(Edit: had to take a few typos out. Might have missed some still, but in my defense, I wrote all this on a phone. Dont you just hate writing on a touch screen? I do!)
Okay, but does the player know it cant attack? They should somehow be notified that they can attack. Brcause agter 5 turns they might have tried everything they got, and gave up on attacking rhe boss.
on my game again - most of the systems have been implemented so now I'm working on the maps. decided to branch out from the RTP and create my own tilesets - criticism needed and appreciated
Decided to splurge and commissioned a friend to draw the main character of my game jam project. Worth it! I never could've gotten the game and the art done XD New avatar by ClockworkCrane!
The X-Mas and ~ all ~ December long Calendar Project seems to bring my machine right to the limit. A very good oportunity to test what my pc can do. Or at which point I should decide to take a step back from filling the rendering program with assets.
The new grafics card and ram do their job well, that's for sure. My own early Christmas gifts were a good investment.
