How to make bridges and water on the same tile?

I was looking at the preset map called 'Mountain Village' and I saw that it has bridge tiles (from the Outside tileset) appearing to go over top of water tiles. However, when I tried this myself, I was unable to replicate it. Anyone know how to do this?

Without knowing what you did, we can't answer this - in most cases it should work automatically with the water on the bottom layer (A-Tiles) and the bridges on the upper layer (B-E-Tiles).

For some special cases it might be that you need to use shift-click-mapping. If you don't know about that mapping technique, I suggest you follow the link to the starting point in my signature and take a few weeks to work through the tutorials.

Okay, thanks, the shift+click mapping thing worked. If it didn't, I pretty much would've had to remake a giant portion of my map because of the very limited amount of undos you have.

there are few undos because you don't need them to change any portion of the map into any ways...

This was very helpful for me too! I didn't see anything about shift clicking in the help files. I was getting around the bridge issues by using bridges that worked without the shift click next to my non working bridge layers. This fixed my current project. Good info!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
