How to make character sprite not stand at the edge of tiles (SOLVED)

When my character stands on some tiles it looks like they're standing on the edge of it. I know most people just move the character sprite up by a little but I'm out of room for that. Is there another way I could make the character appear to be higher up on each tile?

The same mechanism that renders character sprites renders all other event sprites. Alter the mechanism for your character(s) and you affect anything that renders all other events including what events you use from the tileset.

As to 'out of room', do you mean vertically? Other sprites like the half kaiser set are much taller still.

Oh I just realized you can actually make sprites taller as long as the sprite is 1/4 the size of the sheet. Thankyou for mentioning that, but yes that's what I meant by out of room.

Yes, just change the canvas size of your spritesheet - increase the height by a multiple of 4, then move the rows up accordingly

- if you increase the total height by 4, you'll move the bottom row up 1 pixel, the second bottom row up 2 pixels, the second row from the top up 3 pixels, and the top row up 4 pixels.
