How to make chests NOT disapear after items being taken from them

I'm making a game where my character is going to go over to a chest and take the items from them, but I don't want the chest to disappear after my character takes the items from the chest.


Does anyone know how to do this?

you right-click on the map, select "quick event creation" and then select the treasure. These events are automatically leaving an open chest, and after placing one you can open it yourself to see how that is done.


If your chest disappeared, then most probably you were doing them manually and using erase event? Thats the wrong way to make them.


I also suggest you follow the link to the starting point in my signature and work through those tutorials, they will teach you the basics as fast as possble.

By the way, are you using MV or Ace? your profile says MV but you posted in Ace support.
