How to make Counterattack status prevent character from moving, but still allow counterattacking?

What title says. Basically, character goes into counterattack state (Evasion Rate -100%, Counterattack Rate +1000%, Attack State = Knockout 100%) upon using certain skill and it lasts for 1 turn. The problem is that if i'll give that status "can't move" restriction, he won't counterattack and if i don't do that, character can do anything and that isn't really balanced. Is it possible to prevent that character from moving without making whole thing pointless? Another thing i want to do is make this status disappear when character counters one attack instead of removing it when turn ends.


If this is in wrong place (and something tells me it is), move it where it should be.

use the seal skill and seal skill type traits on the counterattack state to make skills unusable.


You'll still have to keep one skill usable for the turn to continue, and you can't prevent the use of items that way, but it should be able to block all powerfull skills that way.

You'll still have to keep one skill usable for the turn to continue, and you can't prevent the use of items that way, but it should be able to block all powerfull skills that way.
But that would still allow character to attack, guard or use items while still remaining with this status. Character should do nothing like when characters are sleeping or paralyzed except counterattack should still be possible.

As I said, it is only a partial solution for several reasons - anything else will need a script, and that script would need to be very carefully inserted in the battlesystem.
