How to make doors locked with a password

Im pretty new to RMVX, so I already ask for forgiveness for my simple yet humble questions.

1. Is the script you provided a "enter password with letters instead of numbers" type of script? (cause thats what I am looking for.

2. How do I implement the script? I know it sounds silly, but I understand i have to copy everything on the link and put it in my scrip editor under materials

But then how do I call it, what next.

Again real sorry for the super newbie question, but then again I am a real newbie. Thank you. (or if anyone else could reply and help me out I would be thankful)
