Hello people, i've ran into a problem when making a survival horror RPG. I want an enemy to chase the player throughout all of the maps. so, lets say the player is being chased by the enemy, and runs into a door. the player is transported into a room, but soon after the same enemy comes into the room too. How do i make that happen?

Make another event on the other map. Make it a 2 page event, the first page should be blank, set the 2nd page to autorun(or player touch if It's meant to initiate a battle/game over if it touches the played, then set a custom move route under the NPC settings, so it can move on its own, while the player can run), and require a switch. Then make a invisible event, set it to below player/player touch, and when touched have it turn on a switch the enemy event requires.

Yep, np.

That would be the simplest way to do it, there's two other ways you can do it(I'm pretty sure you can use/set a variable to do something like this, and you could ofcourse use a script) but both of those ways can be tricky, however this should fit your needs just fine anyway.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
